Shop with Confidence with the Savings Guarantee from Coupons.com

After 7 years of me writing this blog, I think one thing you, my readers, have learned about me is that I love to save money any way I can. I am a big fan of finding away around paying full price for something. Of course, I love to use coupons when shopping and one of my go-to sites for printable coupons has always been Coupons.com.

Coupons.com recently launched a program called “Savings Guarantee” a program that helps you, the shopper, shop with confidence while knowing that you are getting the best online coupon code during your Back-to-School shopping and beyond!

How it Works

If a shopper finds a coupon code that Coupons.com doesn’t have,  then Coupons.com will reward the shopper with $25 and as an added bonus, during the month of July, Coupons.com is upping the reward to $50, after July 31st the reward is $25.

It may only be mid-July but I am already in my back-to-school shopping mode. With 4 kids headed to school this fall, we need to save extra penny we can so you can bet I will be getting the best deals on clothes and supplies for the kids.

As someone who already uses Coupons.com for grocery and in-store coupons, I love their Savings Guarantee and know that they are committed to sharing the best coupon codes so I can shop online at our favorite retailers and get the best deal without having to visit multiple websites for the best code but if I do find a code that is better, I know that I will be rewarded for sharing it with Coupons.com

*Like all price-matching or price guarantee offers, there are exclusion to the Coupons.com Savings Guarantee. These types of coupon codes do not qualify:

  • – Codes that are exclusive to another website.
  • – Codes that provides the same discount as one that is already listed.
  • – Personal referral codes or a one-time use code.
  • – Non-code offers such as grocery coupons, in-store coupons, or discounts embedded in a link.

Seasonal Shopping at Gordmans

As the leaves hit the ground here in Wisconsin, we are getting ready for all of the cooler weather that is headed our way before we hit winter. We still have days when it is extremely warm but then we have the days where you want to bundle up with a blanket and slippers and drink hot cocoa. This is Wisconsin, the land where the seasons change, sometimes all 4 in one day.

Since things are cooling off, Zack and I went through his fall and winter wardrobe, only to discover that he has outgrown most of his clothes. Teenagers….they just keep growing. Of course, since he needed a few things I thought it would be a great idea for him to head out and do some shopping, so off to Gordmans he went.

Gordmans is still a fairly new store to my kids as we have only had one in Green Bay for 2 years now. Since Zack and Libby are both teenagers now, I like to give them a little more freedom when it comes to shopping and often let them go off together and get the job done and Gordmans was the perfect place to send them.

At Gordmans, new merchandise arrives daily offering an incredible selection of today’s latest brands, fashions and styles in apparel and home décor, big savings of up to 60% off department and specialty store prices every day, and outstanding guest service.

Thanks to Gordmans and their low prices, it has quickly become one of the kids favorite stores to shop at and of course, with their low prices, I’m totally okay with that!

Of course, when you unleash teenagers in a store to do some shopping for themselves, you know they are going to have some fun with it because – no adult supervision. The best thing about sending them off on their own, aside from the fact that I didn’t have to go with, is having a teenage daughter who takes video so you can put it on the internet to laugh at.

At least they had fun shopping, that makes me happy.

In the end, Zack walked away with 2 new pairs of joggers, a hooded sweatshirt, and a fancy new watch and Libby picked up a funky jersey. Overall, they spent just over $70 which means they did some smart shopping.

Gordmans Turns 100!

This year, Gordmans is celebrating being in business for a century. President and CEO Jeff Gordman has positioned the Company for continued success. Founded in 1915 as a family-owned business, Jeff’s grandfather, Dan Gordman, was innovative in leading the Company – he helped pioneer the idea of the racetrack-shopping configuration, making it easy to navigate a big-box store. He also introduced centralized checkouts, shopping carts and self-service shoes through his growing retail chain.

In addition to turning 100, guests can now conveniently shop online at Gordmans.com, providing 24/7 savings of up to 60% off department store prices, anytime, anywhere AND get free shipping on orders over $75!

My First #JBFMilwaukee Experience & Why You Need to Go (Sept 21st-27th)

*This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Just Between Friends of Milwaukee.  This program is in partnership with Real Mom Media.  All opinions are my own*

Yesterday morning, Libby and I made our way down to Milwaukee for the Just Between Friends consignment sale. This was a first for both of us and I think we are both still in shock over the size of this sale.

The amount of clothing, alone, is overwhelming.  Racks and racks of maternity, costumes, girls and boys clothing and all of the sizes, it is absolutely crazy and EXTREMELY well organized.

There were more than enough toys to go around and of course, toys were organized in different sections for babies, girls, boys, Disney, Action Figures and so much more!

There was a sea of strollers, high chairs, boosters, bouncy seats and more.  Really, I don’t think there is anything you couldn’t find on your shopping list while sticking to your budget.

Check out this great video, put together by Maureen from Wisconsin Mommy to give you an idea of everything available.

My goal was to make sure that I got the #BestDeal on some winter gear for the little ones.  All 3 littles needed new boots, Joey needed a jacket that would fit now and another to get him through the rest of winter, along with snowpants as well as a few more fleece sleepers.

Here are a few things we picked up:  a pirate costume for Joey ($5), 3 fleece Carters sleepers ($5), a Big Chill winter jacket ($8) and Columbia boys snow boots that retail between $59.99-$69.99 for $15!!!!

I am still in awe of how big this sale is and if I had been feeling better, I think I could have spent the entire day shopping to make sure the kids were set for the next year!

As you have all heard me say, multiple times, I love a good sale.  When it comes to shopping for clothes for 5 kids as well as the gear they all need, I hate to pay full price and in most cases, I prefer to buy something that is used but it excellent condition.

Well, if you are anything like me and you are anywhere near Milwaukee WI, get ready for the Just Between Friends Consignment Sale at the Wisconsin Expo Center on the State Fair Park grounds, September 21st-27th 2014!!

Just Between Friends is a HUGE consignment sale that takes over the State Fair Park and offers shoppers the chance to purchase items at great savings of usually 50-90% OFF retail prices!!!

Now, this isn’t just a huge indoor rummage sale, Just Between Friends keeps quality and safety in mind and all items are carefully inspected to ensure you are getting the best items.  You can bet you will find high quality, gently loved items and some times, even new!

If you are expecting, know someone who is or just have a few little ones at home like we do, this is an event you shouldn’t miss!

This will be the first time I’ve attended a consignment event like this and I cannot wait to get some stuff for the kids for the winter!
