Luvs Helps Parents Do More of What They Luv #WhatULuv

As a mom of 5, I can tell you, I do not get enough time to do what I love. I love going out, alone with my husband. I love drinking coffee and reading books. I love snuggling up on the couch and binging on Netflix (this I actually get to do the most), and I love, love, LUV to sleep.

Sleep.

Remember sleep.

That peaceful thing that would happen for anywhere from 6-12 hours at a time because you didn’t have to attend to someone else’s needs in the middle of the night?

Oh how I miss those days.

I would love to be able to sleep, for at least 6 hours, uninterrupted. I even asked for this wish to be granted for Christmas!

Do More of WhatULuv with Luvs

Luvs really wants parents to be able to do, more of what they love. Luvs recently introduced the new and improved Luvs Ultra Leakguard Diapers with NightLock Plus™. These diapers are softer and more absorbent than before*, with large stretch tabs for easy fastening, ultra-leakage protection and a money-back guarantee.

*Vs. product replaced, sz. 2-5

As someone who has used Luvs for the past 3 years I know first hand that Luvs provides features babies and parents need for less cost than premium brands. I will admit, when I had my first baby, I thought I had to have the expensive diapers. It didn’t take long for me to catch on that Luvs were the diapers we needed.

Luvs is always committed to providing moms and dads with value. They recognize that parenting can be difficult, so diapering shouldn’t be. Luvs conducted a formal poll of moms across the country to take a look at parenting like it really is and uncover what they truly value most.

Pampers Invites You To Say #ThankYouNurses + Giveaway – Ends 11/25

After delivering 5 babies at my favorite local hospital, I have had my fair share of nurses and care givers. During each of my hospital stays, there was always that one nurse that I connected with, however I had never connected so well with a nurse as I did when Joey was born.

I will never forget arriving at the hospital the morning Joey was born, not only because it was the day we welcomed our little man into the world but it was also the day I met an amazing nurse named Ashley.

Not only did Ashley do whatever she could to ensure that I was well taken care of, she provided the same care for Joey and even Alex. We also connected on Facebook after my hospital stay and when Joey had his surgery back in 2013, Ashley made sure she was able to come check in on us.

Although Ashley has since relocated, we are still in contact, and now she is a mom too.

I know that I thanked Ashley over and over for her care and attention while I was in the hospital but honestly, there is no way to put into words just how thankful I am that she was my nurse that Sunday morning.

Celebrate Nurses

Pampers is launching the Thank You Nurses Awards program, honoring nurses across three award categories: Labor & Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Postpartum.

Pampers invites parents to share their stories of nurses who helped make life #betterforbaby by submitting a nurse nomination to the Pampers Swaddlers Thank You Nurses Awards. Nurse nominations can be submitted between November 9th and December 14th.

  • Three finalists, one in each category (Labor & Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Postpartum), will be announced in March and the grand prize honoree will be announced in May.
  • The three finalists will be honored with short documentary videos showcasing their unique and inspirational nursing stories.

Save the Sheets & Get More Sleep with Luvs

This review and giveaway was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Luvs. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.

When you have three small children who share one room, the last thing you want is one of them to wake up in the middle of the night because their diaper leaked.

Do you know what happens when three children share one room and one of them wakes up at 3am because their diaper leaked?

I’ll tell you what happens……THEY ALL WAKE UP!

I don’t know about you, but I prefer to see this in my kid’s room at 3am.

With the holidays around the corner and a certain jolly fella scheduled to pay a visit to our house, you can bet I want everyone to be sleeping and the last thing I want to deal with is a leaky diaper and a wet bed in the middle of the night.

To ensure we have dry nights, you can bet we are relying on a brand we trust and that brand is Luvs. As you may know, Luvs brand diapers have NightLock which offers the largest absorbency area EVER and helps keep wetneess away which mean less leaks, especially during the hectic holiday season.

I perfer to make the mornings merry during the holidays and cleaning up leaky diaper messes in the middle of the night does not make for a merry mom!

With Luvs, you don’t need to worry about your little one leaking through their holiday outfit or onto the jolly fella’s red suit!

Check out this cute Will It Leak ‘Santa Suit’ video. This holiday season Luvs is turning clicks into free diapers (until 12/25) and will give a diaper to a child in need through the Children’s Miracle Network.

Back to the Basics

I just realized that within a matter of weeks, we will be back to the basics around our house.
You know, the baby basics.
Back to changing diapers, cleaning up spit up, and I will be nursing 2012 in more ways than one!
I get to start breast feeding for the next year of my life once again, losing sleep, forgetting to eat, do my hair, put on underwear or makeup.
These are the baby basics.
I will admit, I am looking forward to doing it all over once again but am very, VERY thankful this will be the last time I will be doing it.
So, bring on the diapers, spit up, umpteen loads of dirty poop soaked clothing…..I am up for the challenge one last time.
I can’t wait to snuggle and take in that netter than life new baby smell.
Oh, and the pink and oh so cute girly things I cannot wait to put Ellie in!
I think the hubby is going to take away my credit cards and cut off all my access to Etsy and Pinterest because I have a serious addiction to finding adorable things I want to dress Ellie in!
And seriously, where the hell were these sites when I had my 3 other children?
I would have done some damage!
