Green Giant Frozen Boxed Veggies #MyBlogSpark

This year, our family is committed to living a healthier life.  To do so, we have head to make some huge lifestyle changes.  Since the start of our lifestyle change we have been doing our best to introduce everyone to new foods.  We have learned that some of us do like fish and some don’t and I discovered that I LOVE crab.

One thing neither Zack or I have ever really been a fan of is vegetables, granted I do enjoy more of them then he does. I have slowly started to introduce him to new veggies but he won’t eat them unless they are covered or smothered in something so I turned to Green Giant’s frozen boxed veggies which are endoresed by Weight Watchers and since we are all trying to watch our weight and eat healthier these are a perfect fit for our family.

You can find Green Giant frozen boxed vegetables in your local grocer’s frozen foods section and they are available in a variety of veggies and also offer some with decadent sauces and tasty seasonings.

These veggies are delish and have become a welcome addition to our freezer.

Coming from a family who has been involved with Weight Watchers for years, I think it is also important to share that Green Giant is the ONLY frozen vegetable brand to be endorsed by Weight Watchers and nearly all endorsed varieties have a 1 or 2 PointsPlus value per serving.

For those of you that do follow the Weight Watchers PointsPlus Program or are curious and have wanted to learn more about the foods to eat you can click here to download quick and delicious recipes that incorporate Weight Watchers endorsed Green Giant Boxed Vegetables, with most coming in between only a 1 and 4 Weight Watchers PointsPlus® value per serving – from “Broccoli and Chicken Topped Potatoes” to “Quick Corn and Black Ellie Soup,” this wide array is sure to satisfy every member of your family.

Although we are not enrolled members of Weight Watchers, I have been trying to follow their path as I was once a member and did have success.

Disclosure:  The coupons, information, and additional gift pack have been provided by Green Giant® and Weight Watchers® through MyBlogSpark.

Back to School

Back in the beginning of April, I returned to school to pursue my BS in Communications with a concentration in Sales & Marketing.

This week, I am working hard on my final week of my first course, Intro to Communications.

This time around, my classes are only 5 weeks long, whereas during my AA program they were 9.  Also, for my BS program we work on learning teams so it has made the workload lighter and the class has flown by.

I am looking forward to this first class coming to a close and enjoying the week long break I will be giving myself in between all of my classes this time around.  After 2 years with very little for breaks between classes for my AA, I learned my lesson and will be taking the breaks to make sure I am getting my much needed family time as well.

So, wish me luck on this new journey and keep your fingers crossed that this crazy finals week that I am currently going through goes off without a hitch!

Thanks!

My 21st Century Kids

This post brought to you by AppGear. All opinions are 100% mine.

I often find myself trying to remember what my life was like as a kid.

You know, before cell phones, iPods, iPads and all of these other electronic protable devices that my kids carry around with them today. Three of my four children own an iPod Touch, yes, right down to the 4 year old and I’m sure Ellie will have one in the future as well. In addition to the iPods, my two oldest children have their own cell phones, one of which is an Android phone.

My oldest, Zack, is hooked on playing games on his iPod Touch. He is so into the games, that he spends A LOT of time online looking for new games and learning about up and coming games and features.

Seeing all of the cool new and innovative games from AppGear tells me that I am going to have one happy kid on my hands!  AppGear’s new games like Foam Fighters and ZombieBurbz are both right up his alley and are games that I am sure he will want to play with his friends.

It won’t be too long and he will be asking for an iPad next!

Seriously, what did we do as kids before all of this awesome technology came along??
