Our New Rides

By: Anne Youngercomment

Somehow, with all of the excitement of Thanksgiving and Christmas, I forgot to share some big news. Right before Thanksgiving, as we were heading up north to visit Alex’s grandma and have lunch, we made the decision it was time for us to start looking into a new family vehicle.

When we returned home that afternoon I began searching online for a van that would fit our needs. I knew this time around I wanted something newer, stow-n-go seating, low miles, and enough room for us to be comfortable. After looking for a few hours I found my new van.

This is my new-to-me, 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan and I absolutely love it! It works great for our family, there is more than enough room, the miles are low, and it’s just perfect for me!

What is really great is we are planning a family vacation, road-trip style, to Charlestown, SC sometime in the next year and now I don’t have to worry about how safe we will be on the way!

Fast forward to February when Alex van, my old one, decideds it doesn’t like us anymore and we find ourselves visiting another local dealership to see what they have on the lot.

After a test drive, 2 hours, some talking, we took a car home with us for the night to see if it fit Alex’s needs. The next day, we made it final and purchased this beauty for Alex.

Yes, Alex got himself a 2013 Chrysler 200s and it is beautiful as well as loaded with all of the bells and whistles. It is a great car for Alex to get to and from work and will also be perfect for date nights, little getaways for the two of us, and those moments when I don’t feel like driving a mommy-van!

So now, we are a Dodge and Chrysler family!
