To Joey

Dear Joey,

As I sit here today and think about the last year, I can’t help but smile.  Having you in our world this past year has been absolutely amazing and I can’t remember what it was like before your arrival.

Joey, you are my last baby and I am so happy that you are part of my life and our family.  I cannot believe it has already been a year since you came into this world but I want to thank you for the happiness you added to it.

In your first year of life you have really let your personality show and from what I have seen already I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

I wish nothing but the best for you my little JoeJoeBeans, and I look forward to watching you grow!

Welcome to the family, Joey!

Joey on the eve of his first birthday!

Happy Birthday Joey!

We love you!

Four.

I don’t even know how it happened.
Some how, 4 years went by in the blink of an eye.
It is hard to believe that 4 years ago I was laying in a hospital bed waiting to me my son.
And now, now he is turning 4.
In four years he has gone from a quiet, itty bitty baby boy and turned into a loud, rambunctious, ball of fire and noise, a big brother and a great kid who is a TON of fun!
Happy 4th Birthday to my little Alexander (even though you aren’t so little any more!)

Love you little man!

Thirteen.

On Sunday I became the mother of a teenager.
Yes…..I now have a teenage son living under my roof.
I find this to be complete craziness and hope that I will adjust to this fact soon.
Thirteen years ago, I brought this into the world.

And now, now I have a 13 year old son.

How on earth is it possible that he is 13 already?
Where the heck did the time go???
