Freschetta By the Slice = Yummy for 1!

This post brought to you by FRESCHETTA®. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am a pizza lover.

Pizza is probably something I could eat everyday and never get sick of it since you can get it in so many different flavors.

I do like to change things up from time to time.

My newest addiction……FRESCHETTA® By the Slice.

I recently took the Chicken, Spinach and Mushroom slice for a spin.

Let me tell you…it was good.

I was impressed.

I’ve always had an aversion to microwave pizza because I always fear it will be mushy and nasty, but FRESCHETTA® By the Slice,

it delivered.

The crust was nice and crunchy and it tasted like it just came out of the oven.

It was totally delish!

It comes in 3 other flavors that I am looking forward to trying too!

*BBQ Recipe Chicken

*Vegetable Medley

*Six Cheese Medley

I really enjoyed the pizza and I love that I can get it by the slice. It keeps me from devouring an entire pizza all by myself!

You can learn more about Freschetta By the Slice by visiting Freschetta on Facebook and while you are there you can enter to win FREE Freschetta Pizza for a whole year!!!

The Megalomaniac Mommy Turns 2!!!

It’s hard to believe that 2 years ago when we were out shopping for a new LCD TV stand that I got this crazy idea to start sharing our life with the rest of the world.  There we were standing in the middle of the big chain store when I decided it would be a great way to get some stuff off my chest and share our life, my thoughts and opinions with others.

What a long strange trip it has been!

774 posts, 117 categories, 1742 tags and over 5000 comments.

Pure craziness!

This blog has allowed me to do so many things.

I have reviewed a variety of products, given things away, tried new things, made all kinds of new friends and been given opportunities that I never expected.

You know, like that trip that the Libby and I took to NYC in November courtesy of Crayola…

Born to be a New Yorker!

yeah….that happened because of this blog!

AMAZING!!!

Not only has it given me the chance to do everything mentioned above, but it has also helped me to heal from certain parts of my life.

I have also received some amazing advice from other parents when I was struggling in my role as the mom who I am forever in debt too.

But mostly, I am grateful for all of the wonderful and amazing new friends I have made both near and far….even if for the most part they live inside my computer….they are still friends to me!!

So, thank you to everyone who has been visiting over the last 2 years and welcome to those who are new!

Also, thank you to those who participated in The Megalomaniac Mommy’s 2nd Blogaversary Bash!  All winners have been notified at this time.

Please leave me a comment below so I know you stopped by and I hope you will continue to do so!!

Plus, you never know…..I might just be giving something away to 1 lucky person who comments!!

Hybrid by Brian O’Grady – Book Review

Hybrid was a fairly easy read. It did not get confusing and you were kept right in the action. At points there was definitely a feeling that I was getting where I was waiting to get back to another characters point of view because the one I was currently on was slightly boring compared to the high suspense/thriller sections. These parts did serve the purpose of filling in the blanks on backstory and the technical aspects of the disease but they did leave me wanting more. The protagonist and antagonist were very well fleshed out and you could very easily connect with the various characters. It IS rather good for a medical thriller.

Overall I did enjoy reading this book (but truth to tell it is hard for me to not enjoy a book).  Hybrid is available for purchase wherever books are sold.

Disclaimer: I received an advanced copy of this book at no cost to me in exchange for my honest review.

Celebrating this Spring

This Spring, we are looking forward to celebrating all kinds of things. First things first, I completed my degree on April 3rd and am currently waiting for my diploma to arrive. We are also heading out of town this weekend to watch the Libby participate in the State Destination Imagination competition and are hoping for a big win (which will make it into one of our new photo books) ! There are two other things that we are hoping happen before Summer arrives….we hope that we will be able to announce that we are expecting another child and we are hoping to move as well…into a house of our own. **FINGERS CROSSED**

For me personally, the biggest celebration right now is the one in which I became a college graduate! I am still debating on driving the hour and a half in June to participate in the actual graduation ceremony, but if I do, I plan on inviting my family to join me with the help of Shutterfly with these beautiful graduation announcements

This is a HUGE accomplishment for me and I really want to celebrate it, I’m just not sure exactly how I want to do that just yet. I might just wait until the Alex finishes up his degree in November and participate in the ceremony alongside him!

Spring is a busy time of year in our house and who knows just how much busier it will become. Here’s hoping we will be planning on sending out some birth announcements before next Spring!
