Online School Solutions

With today’s technology, many students and parents are exploring the non-traditional means of getting an education. These student’s, known as the ‘iGeneration’ have been surrounded by new technologies that were available to many of us in the past. Things such as the Internet, cellular phones, instant messaging, etc.

Now, students have the opportunity to complete their schooling online. This can be used for parents who choose to home school, students who are excelling and what something more challenging, of simply those who are struggling to keep up because of hectic life schedules.

In a recent online learning student survey, it was found that:

  • 72% of online students spend three or more hours on homework per week vs. 56% of students in traditional schooling.
  • 54% of online students get more challenges when they are doing well in school vs. 49% of students in traditional schooling.
  • 58% of online students get more help when they fall behind vs. 40% of students in traditional schooling.
  • Online students have more interest in attending a four year college after graduation than students in traditional schooling. 78% vs. 67%
