Get Your Holiday Cards and More at Tiny Prints
It’s that time of year once again and I have been busy getting everything ready around the house for the holidays. In addition to get the house in order, I’ve also been getting ready to send our holiday cards out, finding teacher gifts, and something for the kids to give out to their classmates, as well as a few other items.
When it comes to all of these things, I am happy that I can make Tiny Prints my one-stop-shop.
Large Selection of Holiday Cards
Picking out the perfect card for our family to send out this year, was hard. Tiny Prints has such a large selection to choose from. From picture cards that are personalized, foil-stamped, glitter cards, ornament cards, and more.
This year I decided on doing two cards, a holiday photo card as well as an ornament photo card, along with some matching address return labels.

I am very pleased with how great these cards both turned out and I can’t wait to get them out in the mail to all of our family and friends this weekend.
Of course, customizing the cards to fit our needs was a breeze. It took a few minutes to upload our photos, get them in place, and then customize the colors, names, etc. To make things even better for those who don’t have the time to address all their cards, Tiny Prints offers FREE recipient addressing on any custom envelope! All you have to do is stuff and send!
Gifts for Teachers & Classmates
Since Alexander and Ellie are both elementary students, we like to have gift for their teachers as well as something for them to share with their classmates.
This year, in addition to a few items I already have together for their teacher, I thought it would be nice to add a personalized lined notebook for each of them, because, what teacher couldn’t use a notebook?

For their classmates, we went with a fun little greeting card for the kids to give out. Tiny Prints has a great selection of kid friendly holiday cards too!

Holiday Cards from Minted

As you have learned over the life of this blog, I love to send cards out to friends and family, especially cards that show off my adorable kids. Minted recently launched their 2013 holiday card collection and they have some great designs to choose from.
I like to send out two cards each year (when time allows for it). I send one card to our family and another to friends. Since I like to send different messages to friends, I tend to go for a card that offers space for me to write a quick note, whereas cards that go to family are your standard holiday card with pictures of the kids.
I love the look of these folded holiday cards from Minted.
I love that each of these cards still gives me the chance to share pictures of the kids with our friends and I have plenty of room on the inside to pen a heartfelt message.
I’m also kind of swooning over these adorable holiday minibook cards.
Really, I am torn as to what to do..there are just so many options.
What do you think? Which card should I create to send to our friends that we don’t see or talk to all the time?
I need to make a decision quick because Minted is currently offering $25 OFF + Free Shipping on ALL holiday cards (USE CODE: JOY25FS) through Monday, November 11th.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think I should do!
Prepare for the Holiday Season with Shutterfly

It’s hard to believe that the holidays are right around the corner. As you know, things in our house have been crazy busy with the new baby so I have been doing my best to get a jumpstart on everything we need done between now and Christmas. Lists have been made and checked twice, items have been either purchased or placed on layaway, plans have been made and the calender is marked. The only thing I really have left to do if find and create our holiday cards.
Choosing a holiday card to send out to all of our family and friends is never an easy thing for me to do. I love sending and receiving cards that have pictures and now that we have a new family member, I am looking forward to another photo card.
You know what is really hard to do when you have 5 kids?
Finding a holiday card that has enough space to include a picture or two of each kid.
Thanks to Shutterfly and their 2013 holiday card collection I’ve already started looking for a design that I like and as of right now it has come down to these 5 choices:
The Shutterfly 2013 holiday card collection has new card designs to offer including 5×7 folded tri fold & back of card designs
**Classic: Traditional colors, iconic illustrations, aspirational sentiments, snowflakes, monogram
**Contemporary: trend forward colors, texture and layering, water color techniques, shine, glitter, Instagram pictures are perfect for this style
**Whimsy: humor and nostalgia meet, fun sentiments
**Merry and Bright: all about color and having fun
**Religious: metallic type treatments, incorporated story ideas
**Photo Basics: multiple colors, vertical type, family name highlights
There are just so many choices this season I might have to pick 2 and mix it up, that might make it easier to decide which pictures to use too!
In addition to great holiday photocards, Shutterfly has some great holiday photo gifts too! Check out these great ornament designs (I’m think these would make great gifts for grandparents).
You can learn more about the new card and gifts collection at the Shutterfly Pinterest #PhotosYouLove Party on October 16 at 8 PM ET hosted by @ResourcefulMom. Be sure to RSVP and mark your calender today!

Enter to #Win 50 Holiday Cards from Tiny Prints #Giveaway Ends – 11/16/11
I recently posted about shopping for this years holiday cards for our family to send out and am happy to announce that I made a decision and the cards have been printed and delivered to the house. Now I just need to start addressing envelopes and get them sent out. I am hoping to have them all addressed and ready to go within the next two weeks just to ensure that when it is time to get them in the mailbox they are ready to go!
This year we made the decision to get our cards from Tiny Prints because in all honesty, they were the company that met all of our needs and had our favorite design. When I say our, I mean our entire family made the decision to choose the card we did, which pictures were used and everyone gave their final approval before the order was submitted.
As an added bonus, on November 9th, 2011, you can take advantage of Tiny Prints 1 Day Promotion and receive a FREE card to your kids from Santa Claus by visiting the Tiny Prints Facebook Page and personalizing one of two great cards! This offer ends on 11/9/11 at 11:59 PM (PT)
