Pampers Premium Care Diapers at Walmart

I have been a mom for over 16 years now and in that time, I have purchased A LOT of diapers. Not only have I purchased a lot of diapers in that time but I’ve always used a lot of brands. One thing I have learned in my 16 years as a parent is that Pampers are a staple in any home with a newborn baby and each of mine proudly wore Pampers the minute they were born.

We’ve used different Pampers diapers for different stages and ages of kids so we have become quite familiar with the brand and the different diapers they offer.

A New Line of Pampers

Pampers recently launched their Pampers Premium Care line of diapers with 5-star skin care to help little ones stay dry and comfortable.

Pampers Premium Care diapers are a hypoallergenic diaper with a wetness indicator so you know when your baby needs to be changed.

Pampers Premium Care diapers also offer a unique absorb away liner that pulls away the mess and wetness while being breathable inside and out by distributing wetness evenly for us to 12 hours of protection leaving baby feel nice and clean.

You can bet if these diapers came big enough for Joey’s bottom, he would be wearing them all the time! That boy can fill a diaper like it’s nobody’s business and the minute he feels it is wet, he takes it off!

Be sure to check your local Walmart for the new Pampers Premium Care diapers and pamper your little one right away!

Bubba’s Natural Balance #PetSmartStory

Over the last month or so, Bubba has been having some issues with eating his normal dog food. I’m not sure if it’s just not agreeing with his stomach. After a few sick episodes, I decided to consult with our vet and he thought it could be his food and suggested we move him to an organic, natural pet food.

Taking our vet’s suggestion, we loaded Bubba into the car and drove over to our local PetSmart® to see what they had to offer.

Natural Balance® Now Available at PetSmart®

PetSmart® recently started carrying Natural Balance® pet food. Natural Balance Pet Foods Inc. meets a variety of pet parents’ dog (and cat) food needs, such as grain-free, limited ingredient, and weight management formulas.

Natural Balance products are made with premium quality ingredients and include a variety of dry and canned food, stews and treats. Having Natural Balance products available at PetSmart means it can now reach more homes and pet owners and give them something wholesome to offer their pets.

After looking over the different flavors and reading the packages, we decided to go with the Natural Balance Original Ultra Whole Body Health Chicken, Chicken Meal, Duck Meal Formula because it offers healthy digestion, antioxidant nutrients and promotes brain health.

Bubba seems very pleased with his purchase.

Bubba has now been eating his Natural Balance meals for 1 week and he really enjoys it.

Thankfully it didn’t take Bubba long to get to know and adjust to his new food and from what we can tell, his tummy seems to appreciate the change as well.

Large Selection at PetSmart®

We were really surprised by the large selection of Natural Balance products at PetSmart and it did take a while for us to go through and decide on what we thought was best for Bubba.

Not only did we get Bubba a new food, but we thought we would try out some new treats from Natural Balance too.

Bubba goes crazy for these new treats and that makes us all really happy!

Overall, we are happy to see such a positive change in Bubba and are happy we were introduced to Natural Balance products!

Bubba seems pretty impressed!

Project Landscaping

At the beginning of summer, Alex finally began to tackle all of our overgrown landscaping that has been in place from the day we moved in. Our yard is flooded with bushes, rock, weeds, and flowers scattered about. There was just too much going on.

House before we moved in.

With everything the previous owners had going on in the year, our house looked plain and hidden behind a bunch of stuff.

Now that Alex has tackled a lot of it and put in some new landscaping, our house looks like it is loved and honestly, it looks much happier now.

House with new landscaping.

Now, we still have a lot of work to do and we are slowly getting it done. Eventually we will build a wooden porch over the current one, add some flower boxes and possibly some color to the shutters as well as cut down the tree in front since it is slowly dying off.

A Green Thumb, I Am Not

The day Alex finished this project, we picked up some flower pots and flowers and potted them and set them into the mulch out front. I should have known better….we stink at remembering to water things, other than the kids and dog, and well, our flowers are on the verge of death.

Sad. I know.

Since we failed at keeping them up this year, and well, every other time we have flowers or a plant that depends on water, I thought we could stick some fake flowers outside and keep the real ones inside!

Operation Fresh Flowers

Now that I have decided we need to stick to fresh flowers in the house instead, I figured we could either grab them from the store or even set up a regular flower delivery with a local florist to make sure we always have pretty flowers.

The thought of something as beautiful as these sunflowers in a vase on my kitchen table make me smile and that’s something I want to happen everyday!

I guess I’m off to do some flower shoppin’!

The Casual Vacancy on Blu-ray and DVD

Given the fact that Alex is a HUGE J.K Rowling fan, I thought we would give The Casual Vacancy a try and see what he thought.

Based on the global bestselling novel by J.K. Rowling, the HBO and BBC coproduction THE CASUAL VACANCY is a three-part mini-series produced by Brontë Film and Television, written by Sarah Phelps (Eastenders, Great Expectations) and directed by Jonny Campbell (Doctor Who, Shameless). The mini-series centers on Pagford, a seemingly idyllic English village with a cobbled market square and ancient abbey. Behind the pretty façade, however, is a town at war. The rich at war with the poor, children at war with their parents, wives at war with their husbands, teachers at war with their pupils.

Of course, Alex loved every second of it, as did Libby, just like I thought they would. For me, I don’t know what it is but I just cannot get into it, but that’s just me. The series does have a great story line and now Alex wants to go back and read the book.

The way I see it is, if you are a fan of British television shows, you will probably enjoy this miniseries.

You can get your copy of The Casual Vacancy on Blu-ray or DVD.

Shaun the Sheep Movie Hits the Big Screen

Since Alexander got his iPad mini from Santa this past Christmas, he has become quite the video watcher on YouTube. He has become such a fan of different shows that I had to create a YouTube account just for him because I was sick of mine updating with his history, suggestions and subscriptions.

Now, a lot of you may be wondering what exactly a 7-year-old boy watches on YouTube and I will tell you…a lot of mod videos for different video games and a lot of Shaun the Sheep.

For those of you who don’t know who Shaun the Sheep is, here’s what you need to know. Shaun the Sheep is a British stop-motion animated television series, a spin-off of the Wallace and Gromit franchise.

Of course, when I first heard about Alexander’s new love for Shaun the Sheep, I had to know how he discovered him and he said it all happened because it popped up on the side of the screen when he was watching a Minecraft video and since the first episode, he’s been hooked (and there are over 100 episodes).

On August 5th, the Shaun the Sheep Movie hits the big screen at theaters nationwide. Check out the trailer for the movie below.

I know Alexander can’t wait to see the movie and I’m pretty sure we will be going on Saturday!

Get to Know Shaun

Check out this great video so you can get to know Shaun better!

I have watched a few episodes of Shaun the Sheep with Alexander and I love the way the characters are and the dedication the creators put in to the show and now the movie, stop-motion is no joke, it’s hard work!

Each of the characters offer a different personality, and they are super adorable too!

After watching all of the movie clips with Alexander, he is even more excited to see the movie. Shaun the Sheep is a great, family friendly movie and is perfect for kids ages 4-10
