Papa Murphy’s Chicken is Now #NothingButChicken

If you are one of my readers that knows both me and my family in real life, then you are well aware that we are a family that loves pizza. Honestly, I don’t think love is even the proper word to describe how we feel about pizza. There really aren’t enough words in the English language to convey my feelings towards pizza.

Over the last decade, since we were introduced to Papa Murphy’s, our family has been enjoying baking pizza at home. I love the Papa Murphy’s take ‘n’ bake concept and the fact that I can have a gourmet pizza made with fresh ingredients to bake in the comfort of my own home. This is what really sold me on being a dedicated customer.

Throughout our relationship with Papa Murphy’s we have tried just about every pizza on their menu. My personal favorites have always been anything with chicken and their creamy garlic sauce on a thin crust.

What really makes Papa Murphy’s great and sets them apart from your typical pizza joint is that their ingredients are fresh.

Everything, from the dough, to the freshly grated whole-milk mozzarella cheese, and to the hand-chopped veggies, is prepared fresh daily in each Papa Murphy’s store.

Chicken Raised without Antibiotics At Papa Murphy’s

As a mom, I try to make sure that we serve our kids food that is good for them. Thanks to Papa Murphy’s, I can now feel good when they eat pizza with chicken on it that has been raised without antibiotics. The chicken that is used in all Papa Murphy’s pizzas comes from chickens that are fed a vegetarian diet.

With Papa Murphy’s commitment to quality food, they are now, the first pizza brand to introduce Chicken Raised Without Antibiotics (RWA Chicken) system wide. When Papa Murphy’s says “no antibiotics”, they mean “no antibiotics, never, ever”.

Make A Splash with Nature’s Harvest®

Summer has officially arrived here in Wisconsin, the kids are done with school (with the exception of their fun summer school classes), their soccer seasons are in full swing and everything has gotten off to a great start.

Last week, just 2 days after the kids finished up their school year, we loaded up the minivan and made our way up to Door County for some fun in the sun. Our day was filled with some sightseeing, swimming, sandwiches, snacks, and ice cream.

After a quick trip to the store, we had everything we needed to pack up the perfect picnic lunch!

Thanks to our friends at Nature’s Harvest®, we were able to make some delicious sandwiches for everyone to enjoy, including some PB & Jellyfish and ham & cheese sammies for the kiddos cut out into cute shapes of whales and seashells. As a mom, I love Nature’s Harvest® bread for the kids, and our entire family, because they are delicious and packed with whole grains!

As an added bonus, Nature’s Harvest® breads currently feature my favorite little fish, Dory , on them as well as other characters from Disney • Pixar’s “Finding Dory,” which hits theaters TODAY!

Of course, since we were headed to the beach and a picnic lunch at that, we didn’t get real creative with our sandwiches but Alex, of course, piled ours high with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and sprouts which made for a delicious club sandwich.

We all enjoyed our lunch but I think Joey enjoyed his most of all. He just loved that he got to eat a sammie that looked like a whale! He had a lot of fun making the whales talk to one another.

Everything Is #Saucesome with Ragú ® + Recipe

Sitting down for dinner as a family of 7 is not something that happens a lot around here. There are many nights when someone is missing and our family mealtime isn’t quite complete. When we do have the chance to enjoy a meal together we do whatever it takes to make it great!

Over the weekend, we actually had the chance to sit down together a have a meal as a family and it was the best!

We love to put together meals that everyone enjoys but also meals that don’t require a lot of prep work or a lot of dirty dishes. Our meal for this family dinner was our take on the No-Boiling Lasagna recipe from Ragú®. Not only was dinner saucesome but being with all of my kids and my husband made it even saucesome-ier!

Our Take on a Ragú® Classic Recipe

Often time we stumble upon recipes that we know that everyone will enjoy but I’m always looking for a way to change them up and sneak protein and veggies in so I know the kids are getting everything they need. We took the Ragú® no-boiling lasagna recipe and made it our own by adding 93% lean beef and spinach to it. The kids, actually all of us, couldn’t get enough of it. It was absolutely delicious! Ragú® Old World Style Traditional Sauce has a delicious taste your whole family will love

Make Your Own Meaty Cheesy Spinach {No Boil} Lasagna

All you need to make this delicious lasagna is:

2 – 1lb. 8oz jars of your favorite Ragú® Sauce (We used the Old World Style Traditional Sauce).
2 containers (15 oz. ea.) ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
2 eggs
12 uncooked no-boil lasagna noodles
5oz. bag of spinach
1lb. lean ground beef (or other ground protein).

It’s simple to prep and make this lasagna and takes less than 15 minutes from start until it hits the oven.

Prep, cook and layer as pictured above and once you are done layer, top it with cheese and pop it in the oven at 375° for 1 hour.

Once your lasagna is baked, let it cool, cut and serve!

Aside for a delicious meal that everyone enjoys, our mealtime is made saucesome just by being together as a family, having fun, eat and laughing and just enjoying each other’s company.

They may be crazy, but they are my crazy family and I love each and every one of them!
