I love my Green Bay Packers!

If you haven’t heard, there is a little football game happening this Sunday in Chicago.

Nothing huge…just the NFC Championship game.
The best part…my beloved Green Bay Packers are playing in it.
And they are going to win.
Because….they are playing the Bears.
And as we all know……

So, since I will be busy prepping for the game on Sunday….by prepping I mean making sure everyone’s green and gold apparel is clean, laid out and ready to wear, the fridge and cupboards are filled with snacks and beverages, the living room is arranged so we have the best view of the TV and the house is decorated accordingly…..

as I was saying….since I will be busy prepping, I leave you with some amazing entertainment because really…..WE LOVE THE GREEN AND GOLD!

And right now….I’m Feelin So Fly Like a Cheesehead!

GO PACK GO!!!!

Getting Fit Update

2 weeks down and a long long way to go. I’m currently at an 11 pound weightloss and I am proud of it.
11 pounds is a lot but there is still a long road ahead.
I’m doing pretty good with sticking to good eating habits but I will admit that this past weekend, I didn’t eat so healthy.
It was a very stressful weekend and we went out to eat Saturday night for dinner and then the Alex and I went out for breakfast alone on Sunday morning and I indulged myself once again.
Needless to say, I’m working at burning those bad calories off and kicking myself in the ass at the same time!
I’ve been eating A LOT of fresh vegetables too and am enjoying it!
I’m anxiously waiting for Wednesday to arrive and for my new shoes to be delivered so the Mall walking with Alexander can resume.

Aren't they cute!?

I picked these bad boys up from Payless.com for under $30 with shipping thanks to the awesome coupon I found online.
I had been searching for a pair of shoes like these for quite some time but nobody stocks them in my size since I have ginormous feet!
I can’t wait to get them on my feet and put them to work!!

That’s all I have for now. I’m hoping for a good update next Monday when I weigh in again and I also hope to post some more recipes this week. I’m planning on trying out a new recipe for some yummy Oatmeal Raisin bar snacky things!

Low Cal Honey Roasted Asparagus

I have never liked asparagus.
And when I say never, I mean it!
I’ve tried to eat it a variety of ways and just couldn’t manage to choke it down.
Then the magic happened.
I finally found a way to cook it that makes it melt in your mouth good!

Low Cal Honey Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients:

-1 pound trimmed asparagus
-1 tablespoon canola oil
-1 tablespoon honey

-1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
-1/4 teaspoon salt

2: Whisk the canola oil, honey, apple juice, garlic powder and salt together in a bowl.

Ways to Save on Infant Formula

This post brought to you by PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

Now if you know me, you know I am all about saving money and I love to share deals with others.

I also know that after having my first two children and having to purchase formula, things got quite expensive.  Not only did it get expensive, but running to the store when the supply was getting low was a pain in the butt!

These days getting formula is even easier and better yet, you can get it at a lower price!

Enter Bright Beginnings Infant Formula.

Bright Beginnings Infant Formula is more affordable than the other brand names and better yet, you can buy on diapers.com and have it delivered to your house!

Not only can you have it delivered, but if you spend over $49 you can have it delivered for FREE!!!

Now my youngest child was completely breastfed so I did not require formula at that time however I wish a service like this would have been available to me when they were on formula because it would have been a lot more convenient and made my life a little easier!
