More testing to be done….

My current health predicament is turning into the never ending saga.
I saw my family doctor today, the Fantabulous Dr. J that we all love and adore.
After explaining to him everything that has happened over the past few weeks and going over test results from my recent hospital stay, notes from the doctors who cared for me and a thorough explanation of the symptoms I have been experiencing he has decided it would be in my best interest to have a colonoscopy (Yay me!) to check into the possibility of crohn’s disease or colitis since I seem to be displaying many of the symptoms for both.

Who knows…maybe I will finally get an answer as to why I keep having abdominal pain and everything I eat runs right through me within a few hours.

But then again…..this has still been a great weight loss plan….done 14lbs since last Friday!

Here’s hoping for answers soon….colonoscopy is scheduled for April 1st….I hope my doctor doesn’t decide to turn into a joker that day!

Stikins from LabelLighthouse.com Review & Giveaway – CLOSED

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

As a mom of a toddler and soon to be preschool student, I am constantly trying to keep track of what is what and who it belongs too. With my older children, I’ve always written their names inside clothing such as winter jackets, snow pants, hats, mittens and even their back packs with a permanent marker.  However, things have changed since Zack and Libby were preschoolers and this time around I have been introduced to some pretty awesome and reliable products to label things that I can leave the marker in the drawer.

Recently, we have started labeling Alexander’s stuff with Stikins from LabelLighthouse.com. Stikins are unique stick-on name labels that have many, many uses.  We have been using them to label clothing, cups, shoes, and even toys.

Stikins are a one size name label with multiple uses AND they are washer, dryer and dishwasher safe!

We’ve been enjoying using these labels so much and have found them to be rather helpful when visiting indoor play places where parents can often confuse another child’s jacket or shoes.

Since we love our Stikins so much,  we have arranged for 1 lucky reader of The Megalomaniac Mommy to win their own Starter Pack of Stikins which contains 60 Labels, a $24.95 value!

Clean Screen Review

I have a toddler in my house.
He just turned 3.
I also have a beautiful 47″ LCD TV, multiple computers…one of which is a touch screen.
Do you know what happens when you have things like these in your house and a toddler?
You end up with fingerprints, juice, sometimes even sticky foods smudged all over them.
At least I do.
My little man likes to leave a mess on everything he touches.
I however am always worried that I will hurt the screen when cleaning it or am I using the right product.
Well….now I am.
Thanks to Scott’s Liquid Gold Clean Screen that is!

I also have little electronics with screens that are always be touched and so do my older children.
We have cell phones, iPods and video games.
You know how we clean those?
We use the Scott’s Liquid Gold Little Clean Screen Wipes.

Clean Screen and “Little ” Clean Screen are specially formulated to safely clean delicate electronic screens. Clean Screen is a spray in a bottle with a microfiber cloth.” Little” Clean Screen wipes are individual cleansing wipes for “on the go”.

We have found both of these items to be quite handy around our house and are very pleased with the clean, streak free finish they offer.
Another great thing about Clean Screen is that it saves you money as it tends to be less expensive then others I have seen in large chain electronics stores.

You can learn more about Scott’s Liquid Gold Clean Screen products by visiting their Web site, their Facebook page or by following them on Twitter.
