Baby Bean – 35 Weeks

Here we are in the 35th week.
Crazy.
I can’t believe we are getting close to the end and will get to meet our little Baby Ellie soon.
She is a VERY active little lady who doesn’t like to let her mommy get much rest but I’ve been coping with it.
We go to the Dr. on Friday, the 9th and I am hoping that we will have an ultrasound so we can figure our her position.
I cannot tell if she has flipped or if she is still breech.
One minute I think her little feet have moved from my nether region and then BOOM a nice powerful kick!
I’ve also been having A LOT of contractions lately and it has not been fun.
According to the Dr. I am a higher risk for delivering early due to the bleeding I experienced in the first trimester.
It has also become more difficult to move about like a normal person thanks to all of the pain in my pelvis.
I am hoping that I can get an appointment with the physical therapist this week to see if there is something that can be done to help ease the pain a little.
Other than that, all with Ellie has been going well.
I even had the Alex finally snap a belly pic…..I did edit it a little bit to make all of my lovely stretch marks disappear because I didn’t want to gross you out.
So, here she is at 35 weeks!

Let BigCrumbs.com Help You Earn Money!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of BigCrumbs. All opinions are 100% mine.

This year I have done 90% of my holiday shopping online.  I find it to be easier to order all those gifts and have them delivered to our door rather than stand in line in a busy box store waiting to make my purchases.

As a mom of 3, soon to be 4, I like to do whatever I can to save a little cash or earn a little extra ching here and there through different rewards programs.  I was recently introduced to BigCrumbs.com, a site that allows me to shop online and ear cash on each purchase I make!

Thoughts at 5 am

Last night I fell asleep at 11pm, which for me, is a very rare occurrence. Being someone who doesn’t sleep for long periods of time, I found myself wide awake in bed at 3am.
I tried to go back to sleep but was unsuccessful.
And then I did something I very rarely get to do.
I took a shower without being interrupted by any children.
OH.
EM.
GEE.
I forgot what it was like to not have a kid in the bathroom asking questions, standing between the shower curtains talking to me as my 3 year old likes to do.
No, this morning I took a shower in absolute peace and quiet.
I stayed in that shower for 30 minutes.
I think it may be the best past of my entire week.
Not only did I shower without any kids busting in on my me time, I also watched The Switch which I have been dying to see and am currently watching Due Date and waiting for the Alex to get home from work.
I’m pretty sure I am going to take further advantage of this rare occasion and eat without the worry of having someone sample some of my food too.
Happy Saturday!

Save Money on Lunch and PackIt!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PackIt for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

My two oldest children have recently taken an interest in packing their own cold lunch on the days the school hot lunch menu makes them frown.  I of course have no objections to this because I know what they are preparing at home is better for them and it also saves me from paying for an overpriced school lunch!

We have looked for the perfect lunch bag for them to use instead of the brown paper bag because we are also learning to be more environmentally friendly.  Recently we were introduced to PackIt lunch boxes which is a lunch bag and icepack all in one that stays cold for up to 10 hours!  The PackIt is great for students because nobody wants their cold lunch to sit in their locker until lunch time and get warm and mushy.

The PackIt lunch bag is conveniently sized and also folds easily for take and go storage after lunch.  it is also  non-toxic, sweat proof and PVC and lead-free leaving mom free from worrying!

Right now, for a limited time you can head over to the PackIt Site and take advantage of their BOGO sale and get 2 PackIt’s for $19.95 but hurry before this offer ends!!

To learn more about PackIt lunch boxes please check out the video below.

Tell me, what would you use a PackIt for?  Do you like the idea of the PackIt more than the traditional brown bag?
