Be Prepared and #PowerTheHolidays with Duracell

*This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks on behalf of Duracell. I received compensation to write this post, and any opinions expressed are my own, and reflect my actual experience.*

It never fails…Christmas morning rolls around, the kids are opening all of their cool new toys and gadgets and BAM….something needs batteries and you don’t have any on hand.

Ever been there?

I have….more than once.

Thankfully I’ve managed to stay on top of things the last few years and I’ve been reading boxes when purchasing items for the kids and for gifts and including batteries with them.

Duracell AA-16-pk

When it comes to buying batteries, we perfer to go with Duracell CopperTop All-Purpose batteries because they are dependable and long-lasting.  No joke, Alexander has a toy that he received for Christmas when he was 2 that has been well loved and passed on to Ellie and now to Joey and I have yet to need to change the batteries.

I love batteries that last and are a good investment upfront.

Since most of the toys and electronics in our house require AA batteries, we like to stock up around the holidays and pick up a few of the 16 packs of the Duracell Coppertop to ensure we have enough batteries to go around.

For the last few years, the 3 older kids, Zack, Libby and Alexander, have received batteries as a stocking stuffer too. With 5 kids, a lot of remotes and countless toys and gadgets, you can bet we go through our fair share of batteries.

You can get Duracell Coppertop batteries in AA, AAA, C, D and 9V. Check your local Walmart for the big packs and make sure you are stocked up for the holidays.

Be sure to connect with Duracell on Facebook and Twitter.

Experience the Ultimate Display with LG OLED from Best Buy

This post is brought to by our friends at Best Buy.  The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It’s football season and here in Green Bay, football is a religion.  We love our Green Bay Packers and we don’t miss a game on TV.

When it comes to watching football, you should have the best view possible and with Christmas around the corner, I think it is the perfect time of year to look at new TVs.

I have visions of a LG OLED TV from Best Buy dancing through my head this holiday season and would love to have one in our home for the ultimate game day viewing experience.

Picture it with me……. a TV that is only 0.21″ thick at its thinnest post, that’s pencil thin!

Yes……a TV that is as thin as a pencil…..technology is AMAZING!

With a spectacular picture with infinite contrast that offers the whitest whites and the blackest blacks and paired with LG’s exclusive 4 Color Pixel technology, you will experience bright, vibrant colors along with stunning contrast and a picture that will leave you speechless.

Just imagine how great my Green Bay Packers would look on this TV and with Best Buy’s everyday price of $3499.99 (that’s a $500 savings), how can you complain?

Now….I just need to figure our how to get Santa to put one under our Christmas tree!

Do Gameday Right with LG

It’s no secret that we are huge football fans.  Living in Wisconsin, it’s hard not to love football.  I can honestly say, I’ve always enjoyed the game, but I wasn’t always the die hard fan who followed teams and watched every game.  Since I met my husband, I can say things have changed….a lot.

These days football is something that not only brings us together as a family, but is also a way that my husband and I enjoy spending time together.  We are die hard Wisconsin Badger fans and do our best to watch every game.  We get game day ready with our fan gear, snacks and make sure we have great sound and picture.

(We encourage fandom at an early age. Yes, that really is my cousin, Mike Taylor former Wisconsin Badgers Linebacker)

Since we have a large family, it’s not feasible for us to attend games as we would like so we do our best to achieve a great game day setting at home.

To enjoy game day at home, it is important to have a TV that delivers a quality picture and now that LG has become the official corporate partner of NCAA® Football you can find everything you need for a great experience at Walmart.

LG TVs are great for watching your favorite NCAA team because they offer motion clarity index which means high speed action with minimal motion blur to keep up with your fast moving entertainment.   LG TVs also offer WiFi and great resolution with full HD 1080p to meet the highest standards for high definition.

I don’t know about you, but I’m a big fan of doing gameday the right way!

Imagine amazing picture qulity with infinite detail, Cinema 3D and easy access to limitless content.  That sounds like a great game day experience if you ask me!

I would love to find a new 55″ LG TV under our tree from Santa Claus this Christmas so we could get it all set up just in time for the NCAA bowls games!

Get Rewarded with Hot Wheels

*This is a sponsored post brought to you by Lunchbox on behalf of Hot Wheels and Walmart.  All thoughts and opinions are my own. This post may contain affiliate links.*

For as long as I can remember, Hot Wheels have been a part of my life.  I loved them as a kid, Zack loved them as a kid and now Alexander loves them so much that he has introduced Ellie and Joey to them.

Needless to say…there are Hot Wheels all over our house.  We actually own 3 storage cases that are filled with them and probably a hundred more that don’t have a case yet.

With a deep love for Hot Wheels in our home, you can bet they make an appearance under our Christmas tree every year.

Since we like to stock up during the holidays, we are happy to share the news that now through December 31st, you can earn points towards exclusive rewards when you purchase a qulaifying Hot Wheels product.

Yes, you read that correctly, you can now get rewarded for buying Hot Wheels when you register at hotwheelsrewards.com.

Getting points for your purchase is easy, you can watch a quick tutorial online and get your rewards account setup right away.  Once you have your account and you’ve purchased a qualifying Hot Wheels item, scan your receipt and earn points instantly!

Once you have logged enough points, you can redeem them for some awesome rewards like this cool Monster Jam Monster Mutt 1:64 car collectible.

Alexander has been a big fan of Monster Jam Monster Mutt since he went to Monster Jam for the first time in 2013.

I’m pretty sure I know what we will be redeeming our reward points for!  Alexander’s already been eyeing up the Hot Wheels Monster Jam 1:64 Grave Digger Vehicle and the Hot Wheels Super Loop Chase Race which will give him more than enough points to get the Monster Jam Monster Mutt collectible.  I guess Santa will have to be sure to stash some extra items under the tree.

If you are shopping for a Hot Wheels fan this holiday season, be sure to register for Hot Wheels Rewards and purchase qualifying products from your local Walmart to ensure you get more out of your purchase!

*Be sure to redeem your points for a reward by December 31st 2014 or they will be gone.*
