Now that the holidays are approaching, I am looking forward to all of the wonderful scents that will be filling our home. Thanksgiving brings the smells I love the most….pumpkin, apple-cinnamon and cherry (pie). These scents always make me smile and get excited for the holiday season. For some reason, the smell of anything apple-cinnamon or cherry automatically make me think of the holidays. I think what draws me to the cherry the most is that I used to celebrate my birthday, also in December, with a cherry pie instead of cake. I love those wary fuzzy memories. Having that pie, just a week and a half before Christmas always got me excited for the holiday!
