PAN on Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack or DVD – December 2

I have always been a fan of the tale of Peter Pan. I have loved seeing all of the different remakes of the story over the years and have truly enjoyed each and every one of them. When I first learned that there was going to be another film to share the story, I was excited and now I am happy to share that movie with you!

PAN is the latest in the adventures of Peter and tells the tale of his life in a London orphanage where he is whisked away one night to Neverland. While he is in Neverland, Peter discovers incredible, new adventures while he tries to uncover the secret of his mother.

When I first saw the trailer for this film I got really excited. Check it out for yourself.

The film stars Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund, Rooney Mara, Amanda Seyfried, and new comer Levi Miller, as Peter.

Shaun the Sheep Movie Hits the Big Screen

Since Alexander got his iPad mini from Santa this past Christmas, he has become quite the video watcher on YouTube. He has become such a fan of different shows that I had to create a YouTube account just for him because I was sick of mine updating with his history, suggestions and subscriptions.

Now, a lot of you may be wondering what exactly a 7-year-old boy watches on YouTube and I will tell you…a lot of mod videos for different video games and a lot of Shaun the Sheep.

For those of you who don’t know who Shaun the Sheep is, here’s what you need to know. Shaun the Sheep is a British stop-motion animated television series, a spin-off of the Wallace and Gromit franchise.

Of course, when I first heard about Alexander’s new love for Shaun the Sheep, I had to know how he discovered him and he said it all happened because it popped up on the side of the screen when he was watching a Minecraft video and since the first episode, he’s been hooked (and there are over 100 episodes).

On August 5th, the Shaun the Sheep Movie hits the big screen at theaters nationwide. Check out the trailer for the movie below.

I know Alexander can’t wait to see the movie and I’m pretty sure we will be going on Saturday!

I have watched a few episodes of Shaun the Sheep with Alexander and I love the way the characters are and the dedication the creators put in to the show and now the movie, stop-motion is no joke, it’s hard work!

Each of the characters offer a different personality, and they are super adorable too!

After watching all of the movie clips with Alexander, he is even more excited to see the movie. Shaun the Sheep is a great, family friendly movie and is perfect for kids ages 4-10

It’s an announcement that creates a screaming child in our house……

AHHHHH!!!!!! Sofia The First: Holiday in Enchancia comes out on DVD November 4th!!!

Cozy up to another fun filled adventure in SOFIA THE FIRST: HOLIDAY IN ENCHANCIA on Disney DVD November 4th with a special appearance from Princess Aurora! The DVD is value packed with four additional episodes and a FREE light up holiday ornament.

In this video, a snowstorm prevents King Roland from returning home in time for the holidays, Sofia leads her family on a brave expedition to find him. Princess Aurora from Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty” makes a special appearance to help Sofia and her animal friends reunite the royal family.

Ellie is beyond excited for this DVD release!

This DVD includes Holiday in Enchancia as well as 4 bonus episodes including Baileywick’s Day Off, The Little Witch, The Baker King and Four’s A Crowd.

Okay, I have to admit….I’m a little excited too!

Delivery Man Now On Blu-Ray & DVD

As you know from all of the reviews we do, we love movies. Since we don’t have cable and don’t exactly have a lot of free time to get to the movies, we like to have a regular movie night at home. While Zack & Libby were home for Spring Break, we took an afternoon off to relax, sit back and check out the movie Delivery Man on blu-ray in the comfort of our home.

Delivery Man, starring Vince Vaughn, is a heartwarming comedy in which underachiever David Wozniak (Vaughn) learns he’s actually an overachiever — he’s fathered 533 children via donations made twenty years earlier! David soon discovers that the shock of his life might just be the best thing that’s ever happened to him. Along the way he discovers not only his true self, but also the father he could become. Also starring Chris Pratt and Cobie Smulders — and complete with bonus materials, including behind-the-scenes footage — it’s a feel-good movie that really delivers.

This movie was really cute and Zack, Libby and I really enjoyed it! The following clip was one of our favorites in the movie and features a line that we recite….A LOT.

Yes, we really do say “Yo No Soy David Wozniak” all the time now.

If you are looking for a new movie to check out, definitely add Delivery Man to the list.

BRAVE: On Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D & DVD Combo Pack – 11/13

Our family never had the chance to get to the theater to see Brave on the big screen but I can guarantee that we will be watching it at home on the ‘big screen’ as soon as it comes out. This is a movie the entire family wants to see and we cannot wait for it to hit stores on November 13th 2012!
The exciting home entertainment debut of “Brave” will be available in multiple ways, containing exciting all-new bonus features that extend the breathtaking movie experience.
