Are you looking for a creative way to share holiday greetings this season? Since I spend so much time online and have a large online family, I always like to create a separate digital greeting to share with those that I care about on the internet.
This year, thanks to LEGO and their awesome LEGO Minifigure Family website, I have created a totally awesome holiday card!
Seriously, can it be any cooler? Our entire family as LEGO people! I can’t wait to share it with the world!
Creating your own card is super easy too. You can customize skin tone, facial expressions, clothing, background and greeting. This awesome card didn’t even take me 10 minutes to create and honestly, it probably would have been less but I had to play with all the different backgrounds and outfits just to see all the different choices.
I just love each of our LEGO Minifugres and how they really do capture each of us so well, even the dog!
Head on over and create your own LEGO Minifigure Family! I would love for you to share your image on The Megalomaniac Mommy Facebook page so I can see your creation and we can have a big online card exchange!
I participated in a Blogger Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Kidoodle.TV. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
A few months ago, I had the opportunity to be part of a beta test group for a new site/app called Kidoodle.TV.
If you are not familiar with Kidoodle.TV just yet, let me fill you in! Kidoodle.TV is designed specifially for the use and navigation by kids that ensures an age-appropriate viewing experience for kids ages 12 and under.
Kidoodle.TV is super easy to setup for your child to ensure they are watching age appropriate programming with the Parent’s Room portion of the site. The Parent’s Room is where you setup your child’s account and you control what types of shows you want them to have access to.
The Parent’s Room allows you to setup individual access for each child and you can pick and choose what shows you want them to have access to and you can have profiles for up to 5 kids!
The parental controls include age category filtering along with title selection and de-section so you can cater to your child’s needs.
Once parents have everything setup, just choose a profile and let your child enjoy!
Kidoodle.TV have a brightly colored interface that is easy for little ones to navigate. The content is all age appropriate and free of advertising within the service.
I am a HUGE supporter of Kidoodle.TV. With both a toddler and a preschooler who love to watch programs on their iPods, with Kidoodle.TV I don’t have to worry about them watching something inappropriate or commercials and ads popping up that redirect them elsewhere if the click on them. Plus, it’s easy for both of them to navigate without my help!
As an added bonus, I LOVE that if there is a show that I feel they are watching too much of or, let’s be honest, I’m really sick of, I have the option to de-select if from their available programming for as long as I see fit!
That’s right! From now until Devember 31st, you can try Kidoodle.TV for FREE and enter to win 1 of 10 tablets or 1 of 10 Kidoodle.TV year-long subscriptions!
To enter the giveaway, go to Kidoodle.TV to sign up for a free trial. Follow the on-screen directions and submit!
