With my wild and crazy hair, I am constantly trying different hair care products in an attempt to tame my locks. For most of my life, I had super short hair so all I really did was throw some gel or putty in my hair and style it. Now that my hair is long, my curls are out in full force and my thick mop-top is out of control.
Thanks to our friends at Walgreens, I recently had the chance to try out some new care products on my mop and have found a new love as did Libby. I will start off by introducing you to one of my new favorite hair products,the Natural Infusion Macadamia Moisturizing Light Oil Spray from Suave. This oil spray is the perfect blend of exotic natural ingredients that it makes my hair look smoother and softer while hydrating at the same time. I like to spritz it into my hand, rub them together and then run my hands through my hair from mid-length down to the ends. I’ve also noticed that it helps reduce the frizz upon my head as well.
The Libby is now a HUGE fan of the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth – 7 Day Smooth System. Libby doesn’t have the same curly hair I have but her mane is mighty thick and wavy. She is always asking me to help her straighten it otherwise, it’s in a pony tail.

I know I’ve mentioned a time or two (or a dozen) in the past that being a mom of 5 doesn’t really leave me a lot of ‘me time’. Before I became a mom, obviously I had a lot more free time and was able to do things I enjoyed. After I became pregnant with Zack, there was a lot of fun things to do during my pregnancy. One thing that I did, along with some fellow moms-to-be, was head to our local casino to play BINGO.
Yes, you read that correctly. We went and sat, for hours, playing BINGO and enjoying snacks. It was SO much fun and I certainly miss those nights.

If you know me in real life (yay, lucky you!) then you know that my hair is out of control. It’s super curly, super thick, and unfortunately, I started getting gray hair before I was in my twenties which means my hair is also color treated.
Now, being a mom with 5 kids,I don’t have a lot of time to do stuff with my hair, let alone color it on a regular basis. In order to save money and time, I find ways to make my color last by using products like Dove Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner.
