Look at this stuff, isn’t it neat…..wouldn’t you think my collection’s complete?
Well, as of today, I feel that our Disney movie collection is almost complete now that we have The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition in our possession.
This is a movie that I have loved since it first came out back in 1989. I love the characters, the music, the animation…..it’s just a great movie. Up until now, I never owned this movie and I am so happy to finally have it in our home so I can share it with my kids.
For those who have never heard of The Little Mermaid or need a refresher, here is a brief synopsis:
Ariel (voiced by Jodi Benson), is a free-spirited mermaid, who is off on the adventure of a lifetime with her best friend, the adorable Flounder (voiced by Jason Marin), and the reggae-singing Caribbean crab Sebastian (voiced by Samuel E. Wright) at her side. But it will take all of her courage and determination to make her dreams come true—and save her father’s beloved kingdom from the sneaky sea witch Ursula (voiced by Pat Carroll).
Some of my favorite Disney songs come from this film, including Under the Sea, Poor Unfortunate Souls, Part of Your World…..really, I like every song in this film!
The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition is packed full of special features including the music video, Part of Your World with Carly Rae Jepson and Crab-E-OKE Sing-Along and so, so much more!
Introduce your kids to The Little Mermaid and let them find their voice with these great activities!
