Keep Your House Clean with BISSELL

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of BISSELL Homecare, Inc. for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Although we live in a home without carpeting, you wouldn’t believe how much we actually use a vacuum.  Who would have thought I would have to but out the vacuum cleaner daily to clean the rugs and get all of the extra nooks and crannies where dirt particles tend to accumulate after a day of having a toddler running around the house.  Our current vacuum does an okay job with removing the dirt but that doesn’t mean I’m not constantly on the hunt for a better machine.

The New BISSELL Power Glide with Lift-off Technology may be a lightweight vacuum cleaner but it is powerful enough to take on the toughest messes in your home!

A vacuum with a sealed system and no loss of suction, a one-step removable pod for portable cleaning (I’m swooning over this feature), long-stretch hose, adjustable handle, large capacity dirt cup, 27-foot cord and it includes a TurboBrush and crevice tool.

I am seriously dreaming about the dirt this vacuum could remove from our house!!  Think about the crumbs that could be sucked up after play dates or the pieces of popcorn left behind from a family movie night.  The possibilities and endless.

Making Huge Life Decisions

Last Thursday night, I spent some time on the phone with my sister-in-law and her girlfriend.  Their reason for calling….they are car shopping.  My SIL’s girlfriend is in dire need of a new set of wheels.  Her current car, a 1999 Chevy Lumina with 173,000 miles has definitely seen better days and is in need of some expensive repairs.  Instead of sticking money in the car, they decided that they would purchase a used/new to them vehicle and they were seeking my assistance.

Chevy, Chevrolet, Lumina

I don’t know if you’re aware, but my dad raised me like a boy in some aspects in life and I’m actually pretty good at the whole car shopping and negotiating process.

They definitely called the right person!

I immediately turned to the Internet and began looking for them.  My first stop on the web was Lynch Chevy serving Milwaukee to see what they had to offer in used vehicles.  Their inventory was quite nice, and I sent a few options to the girls for them to look over.

On Saturday, Alex did some running for me to check out some used vehicles for the girls as well and even took a few for a test drive.

I’m hoping that after they look over the options I sent them in addition to all of the research they’ve done that making this huge life decision will be easier for them and that they will be able to stick to their budget and still have a car that they will be happy with in the end.

Have you had to make a huge life decision lately?

What Do You Give A Cup About? #GiveACup

**This post is made possible by Peet’s Coffee. I received a promotional item in exchange for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.**

Peet’s Coffee is launching Peet’s NEW Single Cups and to celebrate this journey, Peet’s Coffee is launching ‘Give A Cup’, the Internet’s very first social sampling experiment.

Here’s how it works. Each week, you can go to doyougiveacup.com and vote on a topic. The topics are fun, current and sometimes a bit quirky. Your votes determine where Peet’s will host their sampling events each week.

If there is one thing in this life that I give a cup about more than anything, that would be my family.

My husband, my kids, my parents, my sister and her family and all of my other relatives are what is most important to me.  Each and every one of them is a special part of my life and I cannot imagine it without them.

As I’ve grown over the years, I have become closer to my family, especially my parents and I wouldn’t want it any other way!
