We are getting ready for the 2012 Olympic Games to kick off on July 27th. To start things off, last week, we played host to a few girls to enjoy the new American Girl: McKenna Shoots for the Stars movie. Since our the DramaQueen and I enjoy the gymnastics portion of the Summer Olympics the most, this movie was a great choice for us and our guests!

Our viewing party was Star Themed and we decorated the living room with star streamers, pictures of Olympic gymnasts, and served some red, white and blue themed snacks!

The girls had a great time partying and they really enjoyed the movie. At the end of the party, each girl received an American Girl rubber bracelet, activity sheet and 1 lucky girl went home with her own copy of the movie!
