I am excited to share that I recently became a Harlem Globetrotters Affiliate! For years, my kids have seen the commercials advertising the local show of the Harlem Globetrotters right around Christmas and this year I am super excited that I will get to take them to their first show!!

With Alex working 2nd shift these days, our evenings are often filled with homework, after-school activities, different appointments and faith formation class once a week.

Lately I’ve been trying to make our nights without daddy a bit more fun. We now have pizza and movie night once a week, a weekly game night and we’ve been spending more time in the kitchen together as a family as well.

When time and finances allow for it I love taking the kids to special events in the area and I am really happy that this year, right after Christmas I am going on a date with Zack, Libby and Alexander to see the Harlem Globetrotters here in Green Bay!

When I shared this news with the kids they were really excited and they cannot wait to go.  Mom better start saving up for some awesome souvenirs!

Be sure to get your tickets to a show near you!!

“The Harlem Globetrotters love seeing families laugh together during our games, and would love to see your family when we come to a city near you. If you’re looking for an awesome event the whole family will enjoy, get your tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters “You Write the Rules” tour. Your family’s smiles will start before you even get to the game because this year, your family can vote at harlemglobetrotters.com, and decide rules for the game like two balls in play at the same time that could affect the final outcome. After the game, Globetrotters will stay on court to sign autographs and take photographs with your kids. The only thing better than finding an event the whole family will enjoy, is getting a great deal on it. Save $7 per ticket* by using the promo code “TOGETHER”. Get ready to experience a show your family will remember for a lifetime! *Discount available on select ticket levels”

EXPIRED **FLASH** Shutterfly Holiday #Giveaway- Ends 12/14

*This post is made possible by Shutterfly. I received a promotional item in order to facilitate this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This post may contain affiliate links.*
One of my favorite things to give as a gift over the holidays is a photobook of memories throughout the year.  When Alexander was born, giving Great Grandma a photobook for Christmas started and we have carried on the tradition since.

I love the idea on a photobook because it is easier to share with others and memories and photographs are protected. Great Grandma enjoys them because she can bring it along to church and show her friends. She calls these her brag books.

Shutterfly Photo Books: The Best Gift Ever allow you to give a unique, creative and thoughtful gift and we want to help you give the gift of a 8×8 hardcover photo book (20 pages) this holiday.

You can enter for your chance to win one of two 8×8 photobooks from Shutterfly using the form below.

Be sure to complete ALL MANDATORY entries or additional entries will be voided.

He LOVES Assassin’s Creed #AC3Gold #spon

Thank you to Ubisoft for sponsoring this post. Please visit Amazon.com to get your own copy of Assassin’s Creed 3, today’s Gold Box Deal of the Day! I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective. All opinions are my own.

It’s no surprise to anyone that Alex enjoys playing video games. Gaming is what he does to relax, spend time with the kids and sometimes to just blow off some steam.

When I first met Alex he was more of a PC gamer and spent a lot of his free time playing different games. Now that our family has grown and we’ve acquired multiple gaming systems, we all enjoy getting our game on from time to time.

With the recent release of Assassin’s Creed III, I have some boys who are really craving their XBOX 360 controllers! I love that gaming allows Alex, Zack and even the almost 5 year-old Alexander to bond. It is super cute to see the 3 of them snuggled in on the couch, controllers in hand and bonding.

Since the game was released I have heard multiple times how much they need to get their hands on Assassin’s Creed III and I am excited that they will finally have the opportunity to do just that!

I have a feeling I am going to have some happy boys who will be gaming over the winter break from school and I am looking forward to them making some memories together!

You can add Assassin’s Creed III to your collection for a great price today! Amazon’s Gold Box Deal of the Day is Assassin’s Creed 3!  To buy: CLICK HERE!

Pick up your copy of Assassin’s Creed III today for only $33 on XBOX 360 or PS3!

Do you have a gamer in your home?  What type of games do they enjoy playing?
