Last night, I set out to create my 4th Biri Biri paper painting project. Since I received my craft kit a few weeks ago, I had been putting off this porject because it was the largest one. Yes, I was intimidated by the size of the picture so I just kept shoving it aside.
The image I was to create for this project is the teddy bear you see below.
This project, not only larger in size, also required more layering than I had done in my previous projects.
I decided to set out to create my Biri Biri paper painting after the kids were in bed so I could relax while crafting.
First I started with creating the bottom layer which was basically the entire outline of the bear. I chose to do this as one piece.
Once I had my bottom later out and on the board where I wanted it to be, I began painting it on to the board using my brush and glue mixture.
Once I had the bottom layer glued down, the project moved very quickly.
In the end, I was quite please with my project.
This project is definitely my favorite of the 4 I have created and I just love the way it turned out, wrinkles and all.
Here is a side-by-side of the stock image and my Biri Biri teddy bear.
Overall, I am very happy with my picture!
