I’m just going to come right out and say it…..
Our family LOVES dessert.
If we could, we would have dessert before every meal, every day!
We loves things that are chocolate, sweet, frosted, dipped….you name it.
If it has sugar, chances are pretty darn good that we like it!
One thing we really enjoy as a family is brownies. I enjoy making them from scratch because they taste soooo good, but it is a rather time consuming process. We have tried a variety of box mixes and have yet to find one we really enjoy….until now!
Last week, Zman whipped up a batch of the new Shake -N- Pour chocolate brownie dessert mix from Betty Crocker and they were some of the best brownies we have ever had! The flavor was there, they were moist, yet flaky, and I still ended up with my nice crispy edges that I love!
I kid you not, between the 5 of us who are able to eat brownies, we had that pan devoured in less that 15 minutes!
Not only were these brownies so stinkin’ good, they were super easy to make! The new Betty Crocker Shake -N- Pour Dessert Mixes require you to add water to the mix, shake it up, and pour it into the pan! As Zman shook the batter up he did a little dance around the kitchen table and had a lot of fun! Oh, and did I mention that the clean up was wonderful as well? We weren’t left with dirty measuring cups, a bowl, spoon…..all we had to do was throw the bottle away and wait for the brownies to be done!
