If your house has any tweens on young teens and cable too, you have probably heard about the lated Disney Channel Original Movie, Radio Rebel.

Based on the book Shrinking Violet by Danielle Joseph, the story follows Tara Adams (Debby Ryan: “Jessie,” Sixteen Wishes), an ordinary high school junior with an extraordinary secret—she’s Radio Rebel, the most popular radio DJ in Seattle!  In person, Tara is as shy as they come, but on air she is a smooth talker who gives a voice to all kids, popular or not!

My kids LOVE this movie, and I have to admit, I really enjoyed it too! It was a great flick for the whole family and we really enjoyed Debby Ryan’s music video for “We Got The Beat” in the bonus features along with the blooper reel and a few other special features.
